The hotel is located in the heart of the historical district of the Brandenburg state capital, in close proximity to the most famous Potsdam landmark.
A short walk across the adjacent Luisenplatz square will take you to the Sanssouci Palace gardens. The 198 hectares of the gardens not only feature the famous Sanssouci Palace but also the New Palace, the Chinese House, the Orangery Palace, and much more. Due to the hotel’s location at the start of the Brandenburger Straße, a stroll along our main shopping street will lead you past numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants.

A10 “Berliner Ring”
If coming from the west, south and east, take the A115 (Avus) to the “Potsdam-Babelsberg/Potsdam-Zentrum” exit.
If coming from the north, take the A10 to the “Potsdam-Nord” exit and following the signs to “Marquardt/Ketzin” and “Potsdam-Zentrum”, then continue on towards “Potsdam-Zentrum”; head in the direction of “Park Sanssouci“ and “Brandenburger Tor”.
Charlottenstraße 125 The hotel forecourt provides parking to unload luggage. Depending on availability, you can park your vehicle there for EUR 18 a day.
Schopenhauer Straße 13 Two short-term car parks located directly next to our property are reserved here for our guests unload their luggage. Longer term parking is available in the Luisenplatz parking building or – depending on availability – in our forecourt.
Luisenplatz parking building The public Luisenplatz car park is located 1 minute’s walk from the hotel. The parking fees of EUR 15 a day can be charged to your room.
Depending on traffic, you will need to allow around 45 minutes’ travelling time to get from Berlin-Tegel airport, and 1 hour from Berlin-Schönefeld airport.
Travelling time from Potsdam train station to the Hotel Brandenburger Tor is around 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
From Potsdam train station, take tram no. 91 to Pirschheide and get off at Luisenplatz/Süd, or take bus 605 to Wissenschaftspark Golm and get off at Luisenplatz/Süd.
